Lipo 360 plus BBLBack and buttocks
A BBL patient of Dr. G, back view. Individual results vary.
A Brazilian butt lift adds shape and volume to the buttocks with your own fat instead of implants. It suits people in good health who have enough fat to transfer and realistic goals. The price combines the liposuction that harvests the fat with the fat transfer add-on, and both starting prices are on the liposuction package list.
Unlike buttock implants, nothing synthetic is placed. The aim is a fuller, more youthful shape that sits in proportion with the rest of your body, and it can also address sagging or uneven buttocks.
Three stages of a BBL
Stage 1
Liposuction
Fat is removed from donor areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs or back. This step collects the fat and also slims and contours those areas.
Stage 2
Purification
The harvested fat is processed to remove impurities, so only healthy fat cells go back into the body.
Stage 3
Placement
The purified fat is injected into the buttocks and placed to build the shape, volume and contour planned with you.
The plan starts at your consultation. Dr. G asks what you want to change, answers your questions, and works out where the fat will come from and where it will go, so the new shape fits your proportions.
Donor areas are chosen for two reasons: they hold enough fat for the transfer, and slimming them adds to the overall contour. That is why the waist and back can look different afterward, not only the buttocks.
The first weeks: sitting, sleeping and compression
Recovery typically takes a few weeks. The rule that matters most is pressure: the transferred fat needs time to build a blood supply and survive, so it cannot be sat or lain on while it does.
Most patients are back at work in a few weeks. Full recovery takes a few months.
- Do not sit or lie directly on your buttocks for the time Dr. G sets.
- Sleep in a position that keeps pressure off your buttocks.
- Wear compression garments as instructed.
- Expect swelling and bruising that fade over the following weeks.
- Keep every follow-up appointment so your progress can be checked.
Risks to weigh before a BBL
Like any surgery, a BBL carries possible complications. Knowing them is part of deciding.
- Infection after the procedure
- Numbness or other changes in skin sensation
- Loose skin, mainly where liposuction was done
- Visible scars at the incision sites
- Bruising
- Swelling
- Changes in skin color

BBL with Lipo 360 and Renuvion
This patient had a BBL together with Lipo 360, liposuction around the midsection, and Renuvion skin tightening. The abdomen is flatter and the buttocks fuller in profile.
The liposuction stage is the same procedure described on the Scottsdale liposuction page, and Renuvion tightens skin over the treated areas.
