His training and his work
From anesthesiology to body contouring
Dr. G came to aesthetic medicine from anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Armendariz earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston Medical School, and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital System.
Dr. Armendariz served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Dr. Armendariz founded Ambulatory Medical Associates PLLC, a mobile anesthesia and sedation company based in Arizona.
At True Contour Medical his work covers liposuction, body contouring, natural breast augmentation with fat transfer and the Brazilian Butt Lift, along with regenerative medicine for pain and sports injuries.

His story
Why Dr. G practices regenerative medicine
Dr. G’s interest in regenerative medicine started with his own health. A routine checkup found a congenital heart defect he had not known about, and it led to open-heart surgery. Living with that diagnosis made him want to learn how the body repairs itself, and he has said he hopes to one day live with a heart valve grown from his own stem cells.
That is why the practice offers stem cell, PRP and PRF treatments for chronic pain and sports injuries alongside body contouring. He says his own experience as a patient is part of how he approaches aesthetic medicine.
He lives in Scottsdale with his family.
